Mena Art Gallery's Summer Open Show

Sunday afternoon, from 1 to 3 pm, Mena Art Gallery introduced its current Exhibit: The Summer Open Show. This exhibit includes a variety of work from painting to photography, from metal sculpture to pottery, and most things in between, all from local artists.

Most of the work on display is for sale, so if you find something you can't live without, you may take it home with you and either decorate your house or delight a friend while supporting the arts in Mena.

This exhibit will remain on display through the end of July, so if you missed the reception, there is still time to enjoy the show. Gallery hours are from noon to 3 pm on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and from 1 to 4 pm on Sunday. For more information, call the gallery at 479-394-3880 or go online at www.MenaArtGallery.org.

Many of the artists with work on display will be taking part in our third annual Ouachita Art Trails Studio Tour in October, so you will have an opportunity to see where and how the artists produce their work and talk to them about their creative process. Most will also accept commissions. Watch your local paper for more information about September.
